On episode four, Wang lost a two round decision to Brandon Melendez.

TRAINING: The first thing I do in the morning is to read a few pages of the book, "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu to get my mind in the correct framework for the day.  I usually then do strength and conditioning in the morning, which can vary all the way from running and lifting weights to playing ping-pong for hand-eye coordination.  Night time is specific fight training such as striking, wrestling or ground fighting technique work and sparring.  I usually finish the day by giving my brain a workout by solving Calculus equations...you have to keep the mind sharp!

When and why did you start training for fighting? I turned professional in the year 2000 during my senior year of college at the University of Hawaii @ Manoa.  I always was fascinated with the martial arts and felt that the guys who stepped into the ring, win or lose, were the modern day warriors.  I wanted to become a warrior.

What ranks and titles have you held? 1995 South Torrance H.S. Prom King...I get emotional just thinking about when they handed me my crown...

Do you have any heroes? Without question, my mom and dad for sacrificing their dreams to make sure I had a chance at mine...immigrating to a new country is never easy and the people that do it, they do it for their kids.

What is your favorite technique? Anything that gets the crowd "ooohhing and ahhhing".

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means I have a chance to find my destiny by competing with and against the best MMA fighters in the world...

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I am a proud graduate of the University of Hawaii @ Manoa and received a BA in History in 2000.  GO BOWS!

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a high school World History and U.S. Government teacher for several years and really enjoyed my time working with the students and some of those kids had truly inspirational stories.  I learned a lot from them!
