Biography

TRAINING: I do 1.5 hours of strength and conditioning in the morning, every other day. On the days that I don’t do conditioning, I go for a big run and then do one hour of kickboxing and 1.5 hours of jiu-jitsu in the morning, then I go back in the evening to stretch, go for a run, and do kickboxing and jiu-jitsu again. Every day is a double day of working out.

Thoughts on opponent, Dan Spohn? He is tall, but I have fought taller fighters.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training in 2008. I wanted to get into shape and get paid to do something I love, which is fighting.

What ranks and titles have you held? I held the Gladiator heavyweight title, the Tachi light heavyweight title and the Global Knockout Middleweight title

Do you have any heroes? No

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means making my dream come true accomplishing a goal I set for myself.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? I was a custodian for the schools
