Biography

TRAINING: Every morning it’s boxing at Grange High Performance with my boxing coach Anthony Redward, making sure I've got all my meals and everything sorted, and at night time it’s MMA training, jiu-jitsu and grappling at Australian Top Team, which me and my brother 

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training with a dream to fight back in 2011 to help me stay on the right path. I had an unhealthy drug habit and felt that fighting was a way for me to better my life, not just for myself, but for my little brother.

What ranks and titles have you held? WKA featherweight champion, Wollongong Wars Bantamweight champion, Eternal MMA bantamweight champion and South Pacific Flyweight champion

Do you have any heroes? Lee Murray and Johnny Tapia

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The world – it’s a dream come true. Shows that hard work and dedication pays off

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Kicked out of high school in the ninth grade and no school would take me after that.

What was your job before you started fighting? Entrepreneur

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Fastest submission in Australian MMA history – five-second guillotine.
