Biography

TRAINING: Hard sparring 12.00/1.30pm, then rest, then grappling 7.00/900pm, then to keep my weight down.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started fighting about 7 years ago, I used to box to keep fit as I played a lot of Soccer. I got a bit tired of boxing and a good friend of mine, Del Edwards, suggested I try MMA. I fell in love with it straight away and have never looked back. I couldn’t wait to get to the next training session and loved learning so many new aspects of Martial Arts.

What ranks and titles have you held? Cage Rage Featherweight Champion, Ultimate Challenge Featherweight World Champion

Do you have any heroes? Bruce Lee

What is your favorite technique? Striking

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s like a dream come true. There was never really an option for me to fight in the UFC because they didn’t have my weight class. Now that they’ve combined the WEC and the UFC, it’s amazing for me to be able to show my fighting style to a bigger audience. I’ve very excited.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?  No

What was your job before you started fighting? I worked in fashion for a company called Maharishi in London

•    Pro since 2004

• Ten wins by submission, seven by knockout

•    3-1 WEC record
