Biography
Training: A typical day of training for me starts with BJJ in the gi, then hard sparring or training with guys like Luke Rockhold, Trevor Prangley, Daniel Cormier, Phil Davis, and Cain Velasquez. Later I’ll hit mitts or do cardio and plyometrics.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training for fighting when I was 24 after my football career was over because I needed to challenge myself and I wanted to hit again.
Do you have any heroes? My father andArnold Schwarzenegger
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is the pinnacle of MMA and the very highest level of the sport. It means testing myself against the very best in the world on the very highest platform.
