Biography
Training: I train twice a day 5X per week and once on Saturday and off on Sunday. Every day I train I focus on a different component of MMA.
When and why did you start training for fighting? After seeing UFC 2, I knew that I had to be a fighter, so I started seeking out BJJ training right away.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? World cup BJJ champ, 3x Pan Am medalist, North American Abu Dhabi trials champ, 2x grapplers quest u.s. national champ, 5x Canadian grappling champ.
Ranks in martial arts styles? Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Black Belt in Kempo Karate
Do you have any heroes? Myself.
Favorite grappling technique: Rear naked choke
Favorite Striking technique: Right Hand
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? A dream come true. A lot of people say that, but that is what it means to me.
What was your job before you started fighting? Jiu-jitsu instructor
