Biography

TRAINING: I train twice a day, six days a week. I train BJJ three times a week. I train no gi two times a week. I train striking three times a week. I lift weights two times a week. I do sprints once a week.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training in 2006 because I saw some old UFC DVDs at my friend's house. To say that, "I was immediately hooked," would be a severe understatement.

What ranks and titles have you held? I am a black belt in BJJ and brown belt in Judo.

Do you have any heroes? My parents.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? More than words can explain. I have been eating, sleeping, and breathing my chance to war out in the Octagon since I started along this journey. My main goal in MMA has been to step foot in the cage of the pinnacle of the sport.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Bachelor's Degree from the University of Hartford 

What was your job before you started fighting? Associate Instructor at a secondary education center

Awards I was given were: 2010 Northeast MMA Fight of the Year, 2011 Northeast MMA Fight of the Year, 2016 Northeast MMA Fight of the Year, CES MMA All-Time Most Popular Fighter, 2014 Northeast MMA Upset of the Year vs Diego Nunes, 2014 Northeast MMA Performance of the Year vs Diego Nunes, 2015 Northeast MMA
