Biography

TRAINING: Very hard. I’m giving the best of me.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
  I started training in Boxing when I was 14.  I then added Jiu-Jitsu and started training MMA.

What ranks and titles have you held? Interim UFC bantamweight champion, Shooto Brazil Champion, BJJ Black belt.

Do you have any heroes? My training partners, Jet Li.

What is your favorite technique? Triangle

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?   This is the result of all my hard work.

What was your job before you started fighting?   I have always been a fighter and been training

•    Training partner of UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo

•    Lost first fight in 2005 – unbeaten since, with one no contest

•    Six wins by KO, 14 by submission

•    Win over Pickett was UFC 138’s Fight of the Night
