Biography
TRAINING: I'm training very hard for this fight. I'm doing my strength training in the morning with Thomas Ball, and my MMA training which varies (wrestling, boxing, kick boxing) at night after work @ Vision MMA. I also train three days a week @ elite, where I do all my conditioning with William Martin.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I’ve really been fighting my whole life. I’m from a small town, I grew up watching my dad and other people fight and I thought it was normal. I came up through school fighting, I started boxing, and then I converted to MMA.
What ranks and titles have you held? I had an amateur belt for the AFL and two pro belts – one for the MMA Big Show and one for the RFL
Do you have any heroes? God and all the pioneers that have built MMA to this point, like Don Frye, Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, and those guys.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No
What was your job before you started fighting? I work for Forst Engineering. We build custom machinery, conveyors, and food equipment for food processing places.
Favorite grappling technique: armbar
Favorite Striking technique: left hook
