When and why did you start training for fighting? It was initially to get back in shape from a knee injury, but then I fell in love with the sport.

Do you have any heroes? My grandmother 

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Everything. It's my dream to compete at the highest level and it solidifies me as an elite MMA fighter. 

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Bachelors in Kinesiology and sports science 

What was your job before you started fighting? Retail salesman 

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Three-time amateur champion
