Biography

TRAINING: We are focusing our training in all areas, because you never know where the fight will develop. But we will not change my style – I will keep the fight standing and be aggressive all the time.

When and why did you start training to become a fighter?
I started training in Belo Horizonte with Vitor Belfort because it was my dream since I was a little kid.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
It is a dream coming true. I believe everything you go after you can conquer. So always in my career I started to see myself in the UFC, and so it happened.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
I was at the college studying to become a physiologist but I had to leave to chase my dream to become a professional fighter.

What was your job before you started fighting?
I had many jobs - my last one was as a personal trainer
