TRAINING: Morning run, team practice, weight training, and pad work

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training ten years ago.  That is what I always wanted to do

What ranks and titles have you held? WEF super lightweight champion

Do you have any heroes? My mom

What is your favorite technique? Armbar

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It gives me the opportunity to showcase my skills at a new level.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Cerritos Jr. College. Associates degree

What was your job before you started fighting? I was in college

•    Pro since 2005

•    Johnson fight was his first in a year due to injury

•    Six wins by KO, five by submission

•    Lost 2006 bout to Genki Sudo in K-1 Dynamite show in 2006
