TRAINING: Early morning run followed by MMA training, with strength and conditioning at night.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I began training in 1999 after being invited by a friend to a Jiu-Jitsu class.

What ranks and titles have you held? 2015 ADCC Champion

4 x Jiu-Jitsu World Cup champion

2 x Jiu-Jitsu Pan-American Champion

2 x Jiu-Jitsu Brazilian Champion

2nd place at Jiu-Jitsu Worlds

Do you have any heroes? My father 

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means life to me. 

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Physical Education, but did not graduate 

What was your job before you started fighting? Office courier
