Biography

TRAINING: I focused more on making an aggressive and forceful fight with a lot of pressure, that's why I prepare a lot in the wrestling and Muay Thai part.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started at age 22. I liked MMA from when I was very young, watching videos of Cain Velasquez and Fedor Emelianenko on YouTube.

What ranks and titles have you held? TUF LATAM 2 lightweight winner

Do you have any heroes? Jesus Christ

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is the most important time in my career. As an MMA fighter, this is like going to the Olympics.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes. I was studying architecture but I didn’t finish because I want to be the next champion in the UFC.

What was your job before you started fighting? Publicist

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition: I won submission tournaments in Peru and Ecuador

Favorite grappling technique: Triangle choke
