TRAINING: I usually wake up at 9am, have a natural breakfast with fruits and cereals, do my first training of the day - MMA. Then I have lunch and rest for a few hours, and 4pm is the second training session of the day - strength and conditioning. And at 8 pm is the technical training.
When and why did you start training to become a fighter? It all began when I was 12 years old, and I identified with taekwondo. That was when I first noticed I could be really good in martial arts.
What ranks and titles have you held? Champion in a few divisions of the Sao Paulo taekwondo championship, five unbeaten MMA fights and 3rd place in Brazil’s TUF.
Do you have any heroes? Swami Vivekananda
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a dream come true to be among the best fighters in the world.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I graduated in Physical Therapy, and my expertise is chiropractic, aesthetic, shiatsu, popagem and acupuncture.
What was your job before you started fighting? Physical Therapist
