Biography

TRAINING: Depending on the day, I usually start with a strength and conditioning session. After that, I have a shake and a short rest and get ready for team practice. I train at Team ROC in Charlotte, NC. After that, I head home and eat lunch and rest, then I typically head to the gym around 6 for my last session. Once I get home, I eat dinner and watch some TV.

When and why did you start training for fighting? In college I was told by a fellow wrestler that I would be good at jiu-jitsu, and I was getting the freshman 15, so I needed to exercise.

What ranks and titles have you held? Brown belt in jiu-jitsu under Sergio Penha, Complete Devastation 170-pound pro champ

Do you have any heroes? Jesus, the perfect role model and savior

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The second step of my dreams coming true

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? UNC-Charlotte - BS in Accounting and a BSBA in Finance

What was your job before you started fighting? Car inspector - something I still do
