Renee ForteTRAINING: I train technique in the morning and do physical training in the afternoon. I also use the sauna after I train three hours. It’s very hard training, even more than usual because it’s my first fight at 155 pounds.
When and why did you start training to become a fighter? I started when I created a personality in jiu-jitsu, when I became confident in the art. I fight because I like to brawl. What ranks and titles have you held? I'm a jiu-jitsu black belt and karate purple belt, I was a several time jiu-jitsu state champion and when I was a kid I was a karate national champion. Do you have any heroes? My hero is and will always be Jesus because he gave his life for me. What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The realization of a dream. Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, but I didn't finish it. Physical education. What was your job before you started fighting? I taught jiu-jitsu classes. Favorite grappling technique: mount Favorite Striking technique: knees
