Biography
TRAINING: Day in and day out
When and why did you start training for fighting? In 2006. I was bored with real life and wanted a challenge and change of lifestyle.
Do you have any heroes? None
What ranks and titles have you held? US ISKA MMA Lightweight Champ, SC Golden Gloves Champ, GA Games Boxing Champ
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means that all of my hard work and sacrifice is finally paying off. It’s an honor to represent the 145 lb division and I look forward to rising to the occasion
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No, I went to work straight out of high school
What was your job before you started fighting? I was a heavy equipment operator, pipe layer, job foreman and all-around construction worker for nearly a decade.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? I won a few grappling competitions
Ranks in any martial arts styles: BJJ blue belt
Favorite grappling technique: I love them all!
Favorite Striking technique: head movement and overall defense
