With Johnny Case being the latest opponent to fall out of a bout against Joe Ellenberger, 25-year-old southpaw Bryan Barberena has gotten the call to step up and make his UFC debut against his fellow lightweight newcomer at UFC Fight Night in San Antonio on June 28.

9-2 as a pro, Barberena trains with John Crouch and the renowned MMA Lab team in Arizona, and he will enter the Octagon with a six-fight winning streak.
