Barboza Faces Johnson in February

Fighting in his native Brazil for the first time since January of 2013, lightweight contender Edson Barboza will look to extend his current winning streak to three when he meets Michael Johnson in a UFC Fight Night co-main event in Porto Alegre on February 22.

The FOX Sports 1 event is headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Rashad Evans and Glover Teixeira.

Winner of two straight over Evan Dunham and Bobby Green, Barboza is currently ranked number six in the world at 155 pounds. Ranked 12th, Florida's Johnson has won three in a row over Joe Lauzon, Gleison Tibau and Melvin Guillard, and he's looking forward to his first bout since March of 2014.
