Cerrone vs. Jury to Co-Main UFC 182

2015 will get off to a great start for fans of the lightweight division, as UFC President Dana White announced Wednesday that top 155-pound contenders Donald Cerrone and Myles Jury will meet in the co-main event of UFC 182 in Las Vegas.

In the main event of UFC 182, which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Jon Jones defends his UFC light heavyweight crown against Daniel Cormier.

The number four ranked Cerrone has been showing the best form of his career, winning five straight while picking up four post-fight bonuses. Michigan native Jury is unbeaten as a pro, and he is coming off a big win over Takanori Gomi in September that saw him become the first fighter to knock out "The Fireball Kid."


Khabib Nurmagomedov showed the lightweight division what he was capable of when he knocked out Thiago Taveres in Brazil back in 2013 to improve to 19-0. Next he faces Tony Ferguson for the lightweight belt at UFC 223 live on Pay-Per-View.
