Cirkunov Faces Newcomer Nicholson at 196

After an impressive UFC debut in August, Toronto's Misha Cirkunov will welcome Florida's Alex "The Spartan" Nicholson to the Octagon for a light heavyweight bout on the UFC 196 card in Las Vegas on February 6.

UFC 196 is headlined by the world heavyweight championship rematch between Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, Jan. 8.

Unbeaten in five straight, with each of his wins coming by way of knockout or submission, Cirkunov is coming off a first-round KO of Daniel Jolly in August. Nicholson has won all but one of his seven pro bouts, five by knockout, and he brings a five-fight winning streak into his UFC debut next month.
