Cyborg becomes naturalized American citizen

UFC superstar Cris Cyborg has become an American citizen.

The 31-year-old fighter was amongst thousands sworn in during a ceremony at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Tuesday, Dec. 13.

"It's an opportunity for me (to) give back for the American community what they give to me. I can vote. I can participate more," Cyborg told The Associated Press.
