Escudero vs. Dober Set for Mexico City

Current Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2 coach Efrain Escudero will join his coaching counterpart Kelvin Gastelum on the UFC 188 card in Mexico City on June 13, as he faces Drew Dober in a lightweight matchup.

UFC 188, which will see Gastelum return to middleweight to take on Nate Marquardt, is headlined by the UFC heavyweight championship bout between Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum.

Winner of five of his last seven bouts, Escudero's biggest victory was his February decision over Rodrigo de Lima in Broomfield, Colorado. Now coaching a set of UFC hopefuls on TUF LATAM, he will soon begin preparing for a tough matchup with Dober, who is coming off a controversial no contest with Leandro Silva last weekend.
