Homecoming for OSP vs. Teixeira in August

Former University of Tennessee football player and current UFC light heavyweight contender Ovince Saint Preux will fight in front of his homestate fans for the first time since 2011, when he battles Glover Teixeira in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Nashville on August 8.

The bout will be televised live on FOX Sports 1 from the Bridgestone Arena. Stay tuned to UFC.com for ticket on-sale dates and fight card announcements.

Currently on a two-fight winning streak that has seen him knock out Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Patrick Cummins, Knoxville's Saint Preux last competed in Tennessee in January of 2011, when he decisioned Abongo Humphrey in a Strikeforce bout. This August, he faces a former world title challenger in Teixeira who holds UFC wins over Ryan Bader, Rampage Jackson and Fabio Maldonado.
