Jackson Called to the Bigs for UFC 177

Damon "The Leech" Jackson got the call all fighters wait for, and after an injury to Justin Edwards forced the Ultimate Fighter veteran's withdrawal from August 30th's UFC 177 card in Sacramento, the unbeaten Texan will make his Octagon debut on the event's main card in a lightweight bout against Hawaii's Yancy Medeiros.

Owner of a 9-0 pro record, the 26-year-old Jackson is coming off a first-round submission win over UFC / WEC veteran Leonard Garcia.
