Koch vs. Dober Set for UFC 195

Lightweights seeking a return to the win column will kick off the New Year in Las Vegas, as Erik Koch battles Drew Dober in a UFC 195 bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, January 2.

UFC 195 is headlined by the highly-anticipated welterweight title bout between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit.

Former featherweight standout Koch made the move to 155 pounds in 2014, immediately stamping his name among the top prospects in the division with a first-round TKO of Rafaello Oliveira. A May 2014 loss to Daron Cruickshank slowed his momentum down, but a win over Dober will get him back on track. Dober is in a similar spot after a submission loss to Efrain Escudero last June, but if he can show the form he did in his win over Jamie Varner, Dober is a tough out for anyone.
