Lauzon to Face Sanchez at UFC 180 in Mexico

A knee injury has taken Northern Ireland's Norman Parke out of his UFC 180 bout with Diego Sanchez, but fans in Mexico City will still get their dose of the former Ultimate Fighter winner on November 15, as Sanchez faces New England action hero Joe Lauzon in a lightweight bout that could potentially be a Fight of the Year candidate.

The owner of the most post-fight bonuses in UFC history, Lauzon is coming off a Fight of the Night win over Michael Chiesa in September, marking his second consecutive victory. Albuquerque's Sanchez has six Fight of the Night awards of his own, and there would be no better place for him to earn number seven than on the UFC's first visit to Mexico.
