Meeting of Top Five Flyweights Heads to Phoenix

Two of the best 125-pound fighters in the world will square off at Phoenix' US Airways Center on December 13, as the number four-ranked Jussier Formiga meets Arizona standout John Moraga in a pivotal flyweight meeting.

The fifth-ranked Moraga, a former world title challenger, comes into the bout fresh from a second-round submission win over Justin Scoggins. Brazil's Formiga has won two straight, defeating Scott Jorgensen and Zach Makovsky.

In another verbally agreed to bout for the card, Arizona newcomer Anthony "El Toro" Birchak makes his Octagon debut against Ian Entwistle.

Tickets go on sale for Fight Night Phoenix on October 10.
