Munoz Heads to Manila to Face Barnatt

"The Filipino Wrecking Machine" will be heading to Manila on Saturday, May 16, as Mark Munoz takes on Luke Barnatt in a middleweight bout to be featured on the UFC Fight Night card headlined by the featherweight superfight between Frankie Edgar and Urijah Faber.

Also announced for the event is a bantamweight bout pitting Royston Wee against Ning Guangyou.

Making no excuses for his desire to fight in the Philippines as soon as the event was announced, Munoz may have suffered a defeat to Roan Carneiro at UFC 184 last month, but he has all the motivation in the world to get back in the win column against Barnatt, a former Ultimate Fighter standout who is currently one of the top prospects in the 185-pound weight class.

UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. Faber, airs live on FOX Sports 1 from the Mall of Asia Arena.
