Pettis vs. Dos Anjos Headlines UFC 185 in Dallas

 
The UFC will return to American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, March 14, and it’s bringing the big guns for the main event of UFC 185, as UFC lightweight champion Anthony “Showtime” Pettis defends his crown for the second time against surging Brazilian contender Rafael dos Anjos.

Tickets for UFC 185 will go on sale Friday, January 23.

The last time the UFC visited Dallas in March of 2014, Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler produced one of the best fights of the year, and more of the same fireworks are expected from Pettis and dos Anjos.

Jumping right back into the Octagon following his impressive second-round submission win over Gilbert Melendez in December, Milwaukee’s Pettis promised to stay busy in 2015, and he believes this is just the start of another big year. Dos Anjos has long been one of the most underrated lightweights in the UFC, but in 2014, three wins, including knockouts of Benson Henderson and Jason High and a decision over Nate Diaz have him one win away from a world championship.
