Quick Swick Returns at UFC 189

 
Back in action for the first time since December of 2012, longtime middleweight and welterweight standout Mike "Quick" Swick will return to the Octagon on Saturday, July 11, to face Alex "The Dominican Nightmare" Garcia on the UFC 189 card at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Tickets for UFC 189, which features Jose Aldo's featherweight title defense against Conor McGregor and the welterweight title fight between Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald, are on sale now.

A member of The Ultimate Fighter's first cast in 2005, Swick went 1-1 in his last two bouts, with a Knockout of the Night win over DaMarques Johnson and a December 2012 loss to Matt Brown. Now fired up for his return, he will get a stern test in Canada's Garcia, who has won six of his last seven, including UFC wins over Ben Wall and Sean Spencer.
