TUF Winner Rodriguez Faces Rosa in June

A native of Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, The Ultimate Fighter Latin America winner Yair “El Pantera” Rodriguez will make his first appearance since winning the reality series on June 13 when he takes on fellow featherweight prospect Charles Rosa in a UFC 188 bout at the Mexico City Arena.

In the UFC 188 main event, Cain Velasquez defends his world heavyweight title against interim belt holder Fabricio Werdum. Tickets go on sale on March 18.

The 22-year-old Rodriguez is a Taekwondo black belt who has won three straight, most recently decisioning Leonardo Morales last November to win TUF LATAM. “Boston Strong” Rosa has won 10 of his 11 pro bouts including a January submission of Sean Soriano.
