Teixeira vs Cirkunov set for October in Brazil

Glover Teixeira and Misha Cirkunov will make the trip to Sao Paulo this fall, as the pair of light heavyweight contenders square off in a UFC Fight Night bout at Ginasio do Ibirapuera on Oct. 28.

The bout airs live on FS1.

Currently ranked fourth in the world at 205 pounds, Teixeira has long been among the top fighters in the division, and he has won four of his last six. Fresh from a Fight of the Night battle with Alexander Gustafsson in May, the Brazilian battler will get another tough scrap out of Canada's Cirkunov, the No. 9-ranked contender who has finished all four of his UFC wins since making his Octagon debut in 2015.
