Two Bouts added to UFC 197

A clash of strawweight contenders and a bout featuring an Ultimate Fighter alumnus moving 20 pounds north to the light heavyweight division are the latest additions to April 23rd’s UFC 197 card at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the 115-pound weight class, number 13-ranked Jessica Aguilar makes her second UFC start against number 14-ranked Juliana Lima. Winner of 10 of her last 11, American Top Team’s Aguilar will be looking for the win and the finish against Brazil’s Lima, who has won two straight over Nina Ansaroff and Ericka Almeida.

In the light heavyweight division, hard-hitting TUF 17 competitor Clint Hester makes the move up from middleweight to take on Brazil’s Marcos Rogerio de Lima, who has scored both of his UFC wins over Richardson Moreira and Igor Pokrajac by knockout.

UFC 197 is headlined by the light heavyweight championship rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones and the flyweight title fight pitting Demetrious Johnson against Henry Cejudo.
