UFC Debut Event in Poland on Sale Feb 26

Fast sell out expected for UFC® FIGHT NIGHT: GONZAGA vs CRO COP 2 
London, UK – UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation, today confirmed tickets for UFC® FIGHT NIGHT GONZAGA vs CRO COP 2 will go on sale to the general public on Thursday 26 February.

The event, set to take place in Krakow, Poland on 11 April and featuring numerous Polish fighters, has seen incredible interest since it was announced on January 23 by local star Jan Blachowicz, with thousands of fans registering their interest to receive information about tickets.

Blachowicz shared his elation at the news: “This means a great deal to me. UFC in Poland is growing so quickly and Polish fans have been traveling all over the world to watch MMA events for a long time now. For us to have a UFC event in our home country is truly amazing.”

After a three year absence, legend Mirko “Cro Cop”Filipovic will return to the Octagon® in Krakow to meet Gabriel “Napao” Gonzaga in the five round heavyweight headline event, while Blachowicz returns home to Poland to face Jimi ‘Poster Boy’ Manuwa, in a co-main event clash with big implications for the 205 lb. class.
