UFC ANNOUNCES PLANNED APRIL 2016 EVENT AT NYC'S MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

The UFC is confident it’ll be able to hold an event in New York City – so confident, in fact, it’s announced April 23, 2016, as an event date at the famed Madison Square Garden.

UFC officials today announced the planned event, which is likely to be UFC 198, though an official designation hasn’t been determined. Although no fights were announced for the card, which is expected to air on pay-per-view, it’ll include the “UFC’s top champions competing with other world-class athletes,” according to the announcement.
