Whittaker, Natal Meet on UFC 197 Card

Former TUF Smashes winner Robert Whittaker will make his first Las Vegas appearance since 2014 when he meets up with Rafael Natal on April 23 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The middleweight bout is part of the UFC 197 card headlined by the light heavyweight championship rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones and the flyweight title fight pitting Demetrious Johnson against Henry Cejudo.

Ranked eighth in the world at 185 pounds, Australia's Whittaker has won three straight in the Octagon since moving to the middleweight division, knocking out Clint Hester and Brad Tavares and decisioning Uriah Hall. Brazil's Natal is on a hot streak of his own, winning four in a row, most recently a third-round TKO of Kevin Casey in January.
