The Zuffa family is mourning the loss of in-house graphic designer Nelsen Bernardo, who tragically perished in an automobile accident Monday morning. He was 29.
"Nelsen was a genuinely kind-hearted person who you could lean on for anything," said Sean Shelby, director of talent relations and creative for Zuffa. "I was honored to know him and I was inspired by his enthusiasm and creativity. He will be sorely missed as a friend."

A member of Zuffa since February of 2007, Bernardo was a valued and talented asset to the UFC throughout his time with the company. He is survived by his family in Utah.
Zuffa sends it's sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Nelsen Bernardo.
