Changes made to Winnipeg card

Several changes to the Dec. 16 UFC on FOX card in Winnipeg were made official Monday.

With Jose Aldo moving into the UFC 218 main event against Max Holloway last weekend, Josh Emmett got the call to step in and face featherweight contender Ricardo Lamas in the co-main event at Bell MTS Place.

Flyweight Justin Scoggins was forced out of his matchup with Tim Elliott due to injury, and he will be replaced by unbeaten Manchester product Pietro "Pitbull" Menga.

In middleweight action, another Brit, Darren Stewart, has stepped up to replace Vitor Miranda against Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series alum Julian Marquez.

And with Sultan Aliev and Sheldon Westcott both withdrawing from their bouts, their opponents - Nordine Taleb and Danny Roberts - will now face each other in a welterweight match.

The event, which is headlined by the five-round bout between former UFC champions Robbie Lawler and Rafael Dos Anjos, will proceed with 12 bouts.
