UFC 181 Post-Fight Bonus Report

Read on to find out who took home bonuses from UFC 181: Hendricks vs. Lawler II
Seven fighters joined UFC Vice President of PR Dave Sholler at the UFC 181 post-fight press conference: Urijah Faber, Travis Browne, Gilbert Melendez, Todd Duffee, Tony Ferguson, Anthony Pettis, Johny Hendricks and new welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.

Performance of the Night was awarded to lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and returning middleweight Josh Samman. Pettis, who was making his first career UFC title defense, was outstruck 49-22 in the opening round, but rebounded in the second en route to becoming the first person to finish Melendez. Samman made a splash in his return to the Octagon, stopping Ultimate Fighter season 19 winner Eddie Gordon with an electric head kick.

Fight of the Night went to bantamweight prospects Sergio Pettis and Matt Hobar. Pettis, like his older brother, started slow, but put on a show in the second and third round to secure the decision victory.

Each bonus winner was awarded $50,000.
