Amanda Nunes capped off one of the craziest and most exciting fight nights in UFC history as she submitted Miesha Tate in the first round to become the new women's bantamweight champion.
Nunes wasted no time opening up her assault on Tate when the fight started, and after bludgeoning the veteran fighter with strikes, she took the fight to the ground where she got the finish.
Nunes has now won four fights in a row and she stands tall as the new champion after beating Tate in the main event at UFC 200.
Heading into the night, Nunes was actually one of the biggest underdogs on the entire card according to fantasy players. Only 14 percent of players picked her to beat Tate and out of that 14 percent, 67 percent believed she'd get the job done by knockout.
It looks like Nunes proved everybody wrong with her outstanding performance to topple Tate and go home with the UFC title around her waist.
Former champion Brock Lesnar was also a heavy underdog in his first fight back in five years as only 32 percent of players believed he'd be able to get past Mark Hunt on Saturday night.
Lesnar got the job done with a punishing ground attack, as he put Hunt on the ground numerous times and started peppering away with the canned hams he carries around as fists.
Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier made plenty of fantasy players happy with his win over Anderson Silva after 77 percent picked him to get the job done in a fight that came together just two days before fight night. Because Cormier had been training for Jon Jones, 53 percent of players who picked Cormier believed he'd get the job done by knockout, but Silva did a fantastic job of staying in the fight without ever giving the champion an opening to put him away.
Elsewhere on the card, Jose Aldo came back in a big way on Saturday night with a five-round decision over Frankie Edgar to win the interim featherweight title. Aldo was actually a big underdog heading into the night with only 39 percent of players believing he could beat Edgar at UFC 200.
Aldo proved them all wrong -- except for the people who picked him to win -- and now he awaits Conor McGregor's return to the featherweight division, where they will hopefully unify the belts later this year.
Former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez got the job done in the kickoff fight for the UFC 200 Pay-Per-View with 82 percent of players picking him to win and another 77 percent believing he'd put away Travis Browne by knockout. Velasquez looked outstanding in his first bout back after losing the heavyweight title and he proved players correct after he put Browne's lights out in the first-round by TKO.
In the prelims, Julianna Pena defied the odds after only 24 percent of players picked her to get past Cat Zingano, but that's exactly what the former Ultimate Fighter winner did over three rounds. Pena got her fourth win in a row overall and also helped out those players who did pick her to win because the 67 percent who thought she'd beat Zingano believed it would come by decision. Pena got the nod on the scorecards after three rounds and now she's gunning for a title shot in the near future.
Kelvin Gastelum also proved to be a good underdog selection with his win over former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks after only 41 percent of players picked him to get the victory.
As far as the favorites go, former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw dispatched Raphael Assauncao after 88 percent of players picked him to win and Sage Northcutt bounced back to beat Enrique Marin after a whopping 91 percent of players believed he'd be victorious.
All told, seven favorites ended up getting victories at UFC 200, with five underdogs ultimately pulling off the upset in what may go down as one of the biggest cards of the year, if not the biggest of all time.
