"It's not violence, it's a sport." - Ricky Gervais

Actor and comedian Ricky Gervais has revealed watching UFC is his guilty pleasure – describing it as “a reality show that is real”.


The star of The Office and Derek is a secret fan of the US mixed martial arts company, full name Ultimate Fighting Championship, which features British stars like Michael Bisping and Brad Pickett.

Asked what he watches when he is not working, he said: “UFC. My guilty pleasure is violence. I love the UFC and I cant get enough of it.

“It is not really violence it is a sport. It is fair and fascinating how disciplines like mixed martial arts and boxing come together.”
