Undefeated prospect Thomas Almeida wants UFC fight with 'cool' Sergio Pettis

"Thomas Almeida has taken time to bask in the glory of his triumphant UFC debut. Now he’s ready for the next challenge.
"Almeida (17-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) is considered one of the sport’s top prospects. The 23-year-old bantamweight in undefeated through 17 professional fights, and that includes a victory over Tim Gorman at UFC Fight Night 56 earlier this month.
"The Brazilian defeated Gorman by unanimous decision in the 'Fight of the Night.' Almeida said he didn’t aspire for a fight-night bonus, but now that he’s $50,000 richer, he’ll be searching for more in the future.
“'I don’t fight thinking about (bonuses) – I fight wanting to put on a great show and to be victorious,' Almeida told MMAjunkie. 'I was truly happy when I found out we had the best fight of the night. I credit the work I’ve done my team. I want to train more now to win even more bonuses.'”
